Firm challenges Feres doctrine
Klores & Associates challenges the Feres doctrine in federal court. In Glenn v. United States, the firm is mounting a challenge to the Feres doctrine. The case involves the death of a young servicewoman who contracted meningitis from an unsterile needle during childbirth resulting in her death. The action was brought by her husband, also a member of the armed forces and on behalf of the baby who survived. The Government has argued it is immune based on Feres v. United States. Settlement achieved in urologist malpractice case
Bruce J. Klores settles malpractice case against local urologist arising out of kidney stone surgery resulting in the loss of a kidney. In this case the insurance company refused to settle and forced a trial. After several days of jury deliberations a settlement was reached.
Firm continues to fight for full vindication in medical negligence case

In the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Judge Gerald Bruce Lee awarded our clients $28,389,289 against the United States for their improper prenatal care. The couple’s son has cerebral palsy. The money will be used to pay for a lifetime of care.
