Scott M. Perry, a partner with Klores Perry Mitchell, specializes in business litigation, medical malpractice, legal malpractice/professional negligence, catastrophic injury and consumer protection cases.  Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Perry spent seven years representing business clients in a wide-variety of national class actions, product liability and mass tort litigation.  As a trial lawyer who understands how to win cases in front of juries, Mr. Perry culls from his experience to obtain positive results for his clients, whether for individuals that have been negligently harmed, or businesses that have been taken advantage of by other businesses.

While Mr. Perry has obtained many multi-million dollar results, he is most proud of his victories against recalcitrant defendants, which have led to important results and affected positive change.  For instance, he caused national safety changes to be made to protect rowing coaches in a case arising from the wrongful death of a rowing coach.  He also obtained a $1.55 million medical-malpractice jury verdict on behalf of a lifelong federal employee after an insurance company refused to resolve the case.

For the past four years, Mr. Perry has been recognized as a "Washington, D.C. Super Lawyer," in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, an award limited to the Top 5% of lawyers in a given practice area as recognized by their peers.

Mr. Perry is a 1997 cum laude graduate of Catholic University School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of the Law Review. After law school, Mr. Perry clerked for the Honorable Henry F. Greene, Judge with the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.

Mr. Perry is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, and is a member of the Board of Governors of the D.C. Trial Lawyers Association.
